Dr. Madhavi Kasi, graduated from the NTR University, India in 2004. She has completed both General medicine and Gastroenterology training in Nottingham University Hospital, U.K, along with Sub Speciality in Hepatology. DR. Kasi has undertaken Hepatology Transplant Fellowship from Addenbrookes Hospital, University of Cambridge, UK. She holds membership f rom the Royal College of Physicians, UK and The Royal Australian College of Physicians.

Dr. Kasi is currently practising as a consultant in Hepatology and Gastroenterology the Prince Charles Hospital, she has been the leading Hepatologist in this region from last 3 years. She extends her services to regional patients in Mackay. She has been actively involved in training juniors’ doctors and in improving services around this region.

DR KASI HAS A SPECIAL INTEREST IN:

  • All liver conditions: NAFLD/NASH, Viral hepatitis, Alcohol related liver disease, Autoimmune liver disease and complex liver diseases
  • General Gastroenterology conditions: Coeliac’s disease, diarrhoea, constipation, weight loss and complex reflux disease
  • Functional GI disorders
  • GI bleeding
  • Surveillance endoscopy for Barrett’s
  • Colonoscopy for bowel cancer screening and various lower GI conditions.
